Mentorship program at Surrey Crime Prevention supports vulnerable youth

VANCOUVER SUN: Melvyn Mani remembers always wanting to be a police officer so he could help his community, but high school got in the way. Mani, now 23, didn’t consider himself a “vulnerable youth,” although his mentor at the Surrey crime prevention non-profit organization he volunteers for did.
