Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize the outstanding achievements of our volunteers and community partners. Our volunteers are leaders who demonstrate tremendous commitment to the City of Surrey. Over the past 10 years, 4,600 volunteers have generously contributed an amazing 275,000 hours towards the enhancement of community safety in Surrey.
Engaging youth has never been more important and through our community safety programs, our dedicated team of volunteers gain experiences and develop life skills that enhance their lives and future opportunities.
On May 4th, we will recognize our outstanding team of volunteers and those who have gone above and beyond in their role. We will also be recognizing our community partners who work in partnership with Surrey Crime Prevention Society and have supported our volunteers while they deliver programs in Surrey.
"The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future. No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage of the young people." - Kailash Satyarthi
